01.5 rotors

i have a dumb question.
getting ready to swap out my front rotors on my 1ton drw and looking at them it looks like i need to pull the big nut in the center of the hub after i remove all the nuts around the adapter? any help would be great.

No, you don't have to pull the bearing hub out of the knuckle to change the rotor. 00 and up trucks changed the rotor attachment design so that the rotor slides over the wheel studs instead of the 99 and down design that had the rotor being held on by being sandwiched between the wheel studs and bearing hub. Just unbolt the dually wheel adapter and the rotor will slide off of the studs.

That's good info since I've been thinking about doing this myself. Thanks for the heads up.
