What I consider "speed shifting" is... very speedy shifting... Like in the time someone was to push the clutch in and then let it out as fast as they could is as fast as I shift, and I let off the go-pedal so I dont burn the clutch. IMO thats the best way to aviod damage To each his own!

I agree with muddin the more you do that it wont matter what clutch you have your just shortening the life of it. IMO

Lemme get this straight. You have a Getrag, and you shift without letting the RPMs drop for the next gear? And you havent broken anything yet? Amazing. I have a hard time with the noises of a plain full throttle run, much less shifting at some crazy RPM and expecting everything to hold. Guess it's all in how you grew up and what ya learned. I learned to drive an old farm truck, and while I will get on my 92 when a V8 is in the next lane, I dont abuse the old gal like that. Sheeeezzz. That is asking a lot from ANY clutch and drivetrain made for medium duty work.

No way, the raggie splattered. I'm running an NV4500, and it has held up well. I also learned on farm equipment, but I also had a '68 HEMI Road Runner with a 4 speed. I can shift my NV4500 every bit as fast as I could the HEMI car, but it's more violent in the truck because I get more traction. I try not to be stupid and break stuff, but.....

Ah, the wonderful Getrash 3rd gear, don't miss it at all. Wrap it higher in second and it should go right in. The gear spacing stinks on the "G".
