yet again another ! headlight problems

ive have bought 4 headlight switchs an my running light are not staying on with the headlights. so i bought a mopar headlight switch today nothing still the same old problem.i also replace the pigtail for the headlight switch new plugin soldier an heat srinked all connection old wire to new wire. so i i pull the the switch out to the first click which would be the running lights (right) nothing so i move just alittle at a time till they come back on. now im about 1/8 past where they should come on an their on wierd? but when i get to the last click no running lights just everything esle. verymad] .

? this is the only truck i have right now to drive i need some help please i will be replacing all the light bulbs & fuses tomorrow.

Just a thought probably not the problem but don't overlook the dimmer switch.

It sounds like when you put the push rod in it isn't going all away into the lock. If I understand what you are saying is when you pull to the first click you have nothing, then as you ease it out further the parking lights come on, which is telling me this which is not moving far enough. I had this happen one time in an old Chevy. If memory serves my problem had to do with the little button you push to release the handle. Hope this helps.
