Yeah baby!

Well, after a couple of speed bumps along the way I got my truck all back in one piece again. Just took her for a test drive and scared the crap out of myself
I got my gauges in this morning and did my 3200 spring today. Since I was already in there I decided to go to town on my injector pump and took some more meat of the fuel pin.
My truck is a whole new beast now. Got the boost up to 23psi but those EGT's sure get up there in a hurry. I'm lovin' that 3200 spring too! WOW! I have officially been bit by the bug now
Gonna be doing some more upgrades in the next few weeks (16cm housing and possibly injectors if tuition allows it) now that I know what these things are capable of. And I'm sure I'm gonna have some more dumb questions to ask as I go along!

Cheers!
-Mike

I know what you mean. I did the 3200 spring a couple weekends ago. It's a totally different truck now. I can't wait for Septemeber 14th. Mopar Muscle Magic at Sacramento Raceway. I'll be turnin' up the fuel screw as far as she'll go to make the big black clouds at the starting line!!! Speed shifting a Getrag in a 6500lb truck should be fun!

Yeah, welcome to the start of things...with my mods I can already bury the 35psi boost gauge and 1600 degree pyro, and I just have your mods plus injectors and a fuel pin.

When are you going to stick some 32" M&H slicks on the back of that thing and see what it does in the 1/4?

Just a suggestion to keep the line officials from getting po'd at you ---

DON'T LINE UP IN THE LEFT LANE
IF you're still running the undertruck exhaust - Watch out - don't smoke the officials.....
I did with my auto when I was torque building boost and was informed that I would not be allowed back at the line unless I STAYED in the right lane...
Seems all my smoke went straight at the officials ...

Careful with the Getty. Make sure to overfill her by .5-1 qts of 10w-30. They do not like to be speed shifting but I can tell you, time it right and you wont grind. Ask me how I know...

I've got a set of tranny coolers coming (the kind that bolt up to PTO ports), so I should be able to put an extra quart or two in her. Since this'll be the first time I drag race her, I'll take it easy on the ol' girl.

yeah I'm thinking of ordering those custom tranny coolers as well, the only thing s I'm wondering if the only way to overfill the getrag will be thru the shifter port instead of the top pto hole.. I like the idea of the trans temp probe. I've left my gauge hooked up since my auto was in there.... would me nice to hook up again...

I'm going to put a street elbow into the fill port and run some of that clear reinforced tubing up to the firewall so I can fill from there. I'll measure the capacity of the coolers first, then add 5 qts plus the capacity of the 2 coolers and be good.
