Worth it??

One of my nieghbors is selling a 92 3/4 ton 4x4 dodge cummins 5 speed with 135000 for 7900. ON a scale of 1 to 10 ill give it a 8.5. Shes been very well taken care of so do you guys think that my dad should jump on it or not?? I would buy it myself but only being 18 and needing something smaller for college i cant afford to buy it right now.

For that price, the body better be virgin and rust free..no bondo, patch panels etc. As stated, it does depend where you are. Here in the north-east, a clean truck will bring big $$, but in Arizona, you could probably find Model A's all day with factory sheet metal

If your Dad likes the truck, tell him to buy it. Don't go by some opinions on here. If you were selling it do you think its worth the asking price ? Its your neighbors truck, so you should have a pretty good idea of how well it was taken care of. Some time you have to spend a little more for a nice clean low milage truck. Just my thoughts. Thanks Steve B.

ctd89-99 is right, don't go only on our opinions... if he likes it and can afford it i say go ahead. $7900 is a lot less than i have seen some people asking and a lot more than others. let us know how it all turns out.
