Is it worth $5000

On a separate post I noted my son was looking for a 5.9 cummins engine as a replacement for his that locked up. He was on his way to do some plowing, heard a noise under the hood, saw his heat gauge at 300. Shut it down, went to move it further off the road, heard some knocking, and it locked up. He now may be considering selling it as-is due to lack of time to do any work on it. He bought this truck around 1 year ago for his landscape and snow plowing business; a business someone is buying from him as he is now running a golf course.

He wondered if you guys could offer an opinion on whether or not this unusual truck is worth $4500 to $5000 - as-is. Here are the details.

1987 Ford F350 dump bed truck
Dodge Cummins 5.9 late 80s engine; rebuilt 2 years prior to getting it - have some of the rebuild paperwork. Straight piped and sounded great.
Allison bus automatic transmission, put in 3 to 4 years ago - was told it had around 50K miles at the time, but probably has 70 or so by now.
8ft western plow with wings
10' electric over hydraulic dump bed
Painted blue roughly 6 or 7 years ago - still looks pretty good on the outside. Looks like an 87 work truck on the inside.
Dana 60 rear end with some maintenance records for work done.
Some other maintenance records in addition to the engine rebuild.

Do you think he can get $5000?

No. It's hard to find people interested in buying somebody elses conversion project, especially with a blown motor.
