wiring help...93 column going into an 89

Exclamation wiring help...93 column going into an 89

i have a 93 column im putting into my 89, which are unfortunately different. If possible could someone get me the wiring schematics for both columns so i can cut and splice and get this all buttoned up.

any help is greatly appreciated

I am doing the same thing and asked the same questions last night in the chat room. Your best bet is to go to your local dodge dealer ( or someone who may have them ) an ask to borrow there service manuals. From what Wannadiesel said last night they are close as far as the wire colors but not the same.

That would tell us what the wire colors are and what they do in the older column.

The way that these are setup, each system has a page and diagram and there is not one for the steering column, per SE. It would be very helpful to try to list all of the systems that are found in the column, IE. Horn, ignition turn signals etc. I can then look at that page and see what and where it enters the column...Mark Also, if you have anything special like a snow plow.

all i need is horn, wipers, high beams,turn signals and ignition the rest really serves no purpose in my truck and the stock column had no hazard button
