Window Whining

My drivers side window in my 93 will go up and down a couple times and then stop working. In a little while it will go to working again. What the heck is u with that; anybody know. I put a new set of buttons on today, still the same.
Thanx

Is it binding up on anything? Try pulling the armrest towards you while running it up. My drivers side does this on occasion, never dug into it to see what the problem is, more pressing things to deal with.

Sounds to me like the motor is drawing too much current and will trip the circuit breaker when it gets too hot. Must be binding for some reason.

window whining

That makes sense as it seems to reset itself after a few minutes, so you think I need a new motor?

I think you need to stop running it up and down :lol

Mine only goes up and down a few times before the breaker trips.

Ditto! Though I'm partial to screw top soda bottles... Even keep a (few) spare in the console for "emergencies"

Yah, how many times can you do it in succession before you trip the breaker?
