Yes it will fit you have to get the elbow from a second gen. The elbow goes from the turbo to the down pipe it is a cast piece check the classifieds or ebay you should be able to pick one up fairly cheap.

The elbow has the flange that bolts up to the turbo? What is the flange for on the down pipe in the link? To bolt to the elbow?

What you will need is a elbow with the v-band clamp for the turbo side and the "clip" flange on the other side. Try to find a exhaust elbow for a 1994-2002 truck.

It can be made to work. all you need is the elbow off a 2nd gen.

Is this the best way to go to piece together a 4" exhaust? I don't want to buy a full exhaust system, since I'm going to exit in front of the rear wheels. No one in town can bend 4". What other options are there? (I don't weld)

be careful, some elbows bolt onto the turbo and some use the v-band clamp.

Buy an overpriced 4" downpipe designed for a 1st gen. that'd be easy, then just peice the 4" exhaust from there back.

http://www.sourceautomotive.biz/shop...pipe-13-7.html

A turbo back 4" exhaust is $500.

The 2nd gen DP can be used and i wish i could find a picture but i know a few guys running them, 1bad93 , dodgethis91cmns ... all running the cast elbow off the turbo then hooked up to the 2nd gen 4" downpipe

just do a 4" to a turn down near the rear end. no bends required except for a downpipe fab if you even do that. you can build off of the source automotive downpipe.

gives everything a nice coating of soot

I got the V-Clamp elbow and the 2nd gen downpipe, then used 4" flex pipe to get around the t-case. Then it goes up into my stacks.

Keep looking around, my best friend has a 96 2500 with the HX35 and has a 4 inch DP, and does not have the cast elbow. It is an old system, like 10 years old, but there are option.
I have delt with Rip Rook at source automotive and I would do it again, deffinatly a great group to deal with. And he cut the cost for shipping my DP from Washington, to NY to boot.
