will a dodge van steering box fit on a first gen

I am building a 1950 Chevy COE (cabover engine) and the body is mounted on a 1990 d250 CTD. The major hurdle for me on this project I feel will be the steering, the angle of the steering box is too shallow and I was wondering if a box from a van which is basically in cabover configuration would bolt on to the truck chassis with minimal to alot of grief. I know there is a lot of knowledge here so if any of you know for sure or can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I will try to post pics of the project as it is going to be very unique. Thanks, Don.

Any idea on what years of vans are compatible and also do you think the bolt holes will line up or will it have to be a custom type job. I am also wondering about the pitman arm splines are there alot of different counts? Thanks again.

As far as I know the main difference between a Dodge and Chevy box is the input shaft.
