will a -25 offset wheel work?
Need to know if a 10 wide wheel with a -25 offset work on my 1982 W350?
The truck has 6" lift springs and I am going to run a 37x13.5x20 on a 20x10 wheel.
My current wheels are 16x8 -13 offset but I found a set that are 20x10 -25 offset that I would like to get if they will work on the 1st gen.?
From what I can find thru google this wheel would be offset away from the axle approx 1/2" more than my current wheel....Does anyone know if that is correct?

I thought the offset # was in milimetres? If so -25 offset means the offset is about 1 inch.
As I understand it, those rims would probably stick out from the truck or make the tread stick out giving it a wider stance. I don't know if that's what you're looking for but just so you know.
So long as they'd clear the calipers and have a center hole that's big enough I can't see why they wouldn't work.

Do they stick out a little more than stock?
As I understand it factory rims are 0 offset so my current wheels at -13 are out about a 1/2" more and the -25 would be about a 1/2" more than that or out about 1" total more than stock.

Joker,
I currently have 20"x10" wheels (-12mm offset) with 37"x13.5"x20" tires and a SkyJacker 6" lift. I have zero issues with this combo and in my opinion -25mm offset would be perfect.
Here are some pictures, not the best for the wheels and tires but at least some idea of what yours would look like.
Good luck with yours
