Why do these NAPA rotors not fit??

I am starting to fix up a new to me 1990 W250. Brakes were shot and I ordered new calipers, rotors, etc. I ordered Napa part number 4885843 specified to fit W250 with 4500 lb front axle. The truck is a cummins and I verified the axle is 4500lb visually and on the door sticker. The old rotors I took off were considerably thinner and I assumed someone had put the dana 44 rotors on mistakenly. I get everything ready to go back on and the rotors hit the caliper mounting bracket preventing the hub from seating all the way. I thought it was crud build up on the surface of the caliper bracket so I took it off and cleaned the caliper bracket up with the grinder, tried again and same thing. Took it off and started measuring. The rotor height is 3.2 inches and I measure 3 inches of clearance between the hub flange and the caliper bracket when it is seated without the rotor on it so no way those are fitting. What gives?? Did some of the dana 60's use the thinner rotors? I'm sure Napa is not gonna let me return that rotor I already mounted to the hub.

What style are your hubs?

I haven't proven it, but i think the bearing hubs that use the old bolt-on locking hubs use the thin rotor (1.25") and the 'modern' splined style use the thick one (1.5").

There you go. I think you are stuck with thin rotors unless you upgrade the bearing hubs (and locking hubs).

Yes the earlier 89-90 W trucks came with a thinner front brake rotor.
