Who makes wheels for our trucks?

I am looking for some really mean looking wheels for my truck and I can't find anything earlier than a 94. I know I have seen some on here, but I don't know where or who had them. Any links are appreciated. I want something about stock size that I can get in black.(or I can paint/powdercoat/dip/whatever it takes to get them in black)I don't care if it has to be a bigger wheel.
TIA
Leper

8x6.5 are the wheel patterns. I am going to put on some Eagle 058's or 101's sometime soon.

Most of the aftermarket wheels out there are going to be a little wider than stock size,8" at least but there alot of good looking wheels out there.4 wheel parts and wholesalers carries a bunch and so does national tire and wheel.

Why not just get some wheels off a ford 3X4 ton pre superduty. the 90's ones are Accuride 16X7, Also Econoline vans 3/4 and 1 ton 92- current 2008 have these same rims! 8 lug X 6.5 for sure. The Backspacing is an issue too, the 2nd gen wheels had a wider axle track and therefore more backspacing. Putting these wheels on our trucks results in a narrow wheelbase width.

I am really looking for a good looking wheel. Something that is subtle, but menacing.

You can paint these nice high load rating accuride steelies black and be done with it. Also the Aluminum rims pre superduty from the 90's ford 3/4 tons are made by Alcoa and people don't know that, and will practically give them away! these wheels are called Alcoa "Classics" and are $#$$$$$$ brand new, they're still avail new, check the prices. They probably have the highest load rating of any single wheel 16 inch rim around. something to the tune of 3750 lbs and 110 psi! Our load range E tires are safe on these wheels. They're going to run you 250 a piece new.

Rickson 19.5s only way to go, IMHO. 285s gives you a 35" tire on those wheels. But they're spendy....

I'll hit it, just cuz I woulda made the exact same post within the next few weeks. I got a set of 4 basically bald BFG A/T's that I need to replace, and in doing that I need to replace the 16.5 wheels on which they mount. I too would like to have a black wheel with that 'Menacing' look. But all I can find is Supa Dubs wit dat Ultra Bling Shizzle, Ya knowatemsayinhomes! And of course Daddy ain't lookin for that!

Hopin' this thread produces results!

yeah Rickson sells accuride 19.5s
As far as menacing, check out Marty's 3rd gen dually. He got the accurides outta the junk yard on a bread van, 19.5 accurides! But he did have to machine out the hub centers a bit cuz they were on a chevy bread van.
Now hows that for Menacing police car look?
He cold fit some bigger meats on there even. But yeah they'll fit our trucks. He says that the tires are rated for 5000 lbs each :-O

Are you looking for dually rims or single rims? Check out my album pictures for some Hayes Lemmerez Dually rims.
