Where in the World is your First Gen? First Gens in Action!
I like your truck, It has that Narly "I'm going to kick your butt look"...although if I lived there, and I made the $ I made now, I couldn't afford the fuel to drive it..... although it would look nice as a big lawn ornament.
Since you guys over there have "real diesel" (from what I'm told) do you have a number for fuel mileage you get in your truck ???
European cars and trucks supposedly get better fuel mileage due to the type of fuel available over there. Is this true or fallacy ?

Thanks man ! I didn't want to go the lift your truck enough to clear the tires look. I'd just wanted big tires and little suspension upgrade. So I opened up the fenders.
Awesome. Did you read it on 1stgen.org or did you noticed it by yourself? That grille was a freebie for me from a fellow dodge enthusiast. It is very rare to get US car parts for free in here. Can you tell me from what year that is? Because I don't know. Or is it just 74 to 76? Or is it 79 option grille? I just love that round head light design.
Thanks!
That's what I'm after. A careless old truck what can take a little beating without noticing any difference in paint or appereance
My old was horrible to use. I babied it too much
I wanted the cheapest W-250 I could find
My truck is little expensive in here to use. But then again it don't lose it's value like new cars in here.
Yes you are right. Our diesel is supposed to be better. But the diesel what we get in here is also very dry. Not sure is it as dry as yours but our diesel burns with less oxygen than yours. So we shouldn't use as much timing in our diesel engines than you guys do.
I discussed this with Mika Salonen who has built the world fastest Duramax Crew Cab in here. He has been doing some research of the diesel fuel differences between Finland and USA.
Here is a video of his full weight truck:

What comes for the mileage, not sure.
I'm getting 17-19mpg with the current setup on highway and about 13-15mpg on town. I have little worn injectors on my truck(haze coming from the exhaust when idling) and I have only turned the fuel screw.
I don't think the difference on mileage is very big.
But the most lubricating diesel and gas I know comes from Russia. But the quality is not that good. But it is very well lubricating stuff.
I do! I wish I could afford a good USA trip somewhere on the future. I'd want to buy a 68-70 black 440 R/T Charger and drive it across the USA from west to east and ship in here
I have to visit Las Vegas, San Fransisco, Houston area,Miami/Key West and all the states between them
Anyway, here's a link to my picture blog so you can see what I am doing in here. There is a lot of pictures of my other things as well!

Cool pix on the progress 98 and counting.
Nice restoration.process, and I agree with Bob that the ramcharger grille makes it look better.
