Where at in North Texas?...
First off, I don't know if you have any gauges but if you don't invest in a set of good pyro and boost gauges before you touch anything.
Secondly, adjusting the VE is very simple and it only requires a set of basic hand tools. Just read the directions, look at pictures to get an idea of what to do and have at it. Getting a sheet of paper and recording your settings would be a wise idea should you even (can't believe I'm saying this
) go back to stock
. Also mark things on the pump for reference. Take your time and don't sweat it, once you've done the tweaks you'll realize that its fairly simple and easy.
I'm willing to bet that a lot of the frequent members here know more about the VE pump and turning it up than most diesel shops. We are more than willing to help, just ask

If you don't get a better answer, find some close to you in the list of service locations here:

and call them.

Dang guys I guess I should have posted that I was going to be in Texas this week. I am in Allen Texas right now for some training for work, but I am leaving in the morning. I could have helped you out. I didnt bring my tools though.
I am sure you can find someone to work on it.
