Where at in North Texas?...

Can I go to my VE pump tweaked? I am looking for a reputable shop in the North Texas area to work my VE pump for me.

TIA!

First off, I don't know if you have any gauges but if you don't invest in a set of good pyro and boost gauges before you touch anything.

Secondly, adjusting the VE is very simple and it only requires a set of basic hand tools. Just read the directions, look at pictures to get an idea of what to do and have at it. Getting a sheet of paper and recording your settings would be a wise idea should you even (can't believe I'm saying this ) go back to stock . Also mark things on the pump for reference. Take your time and don't sweat it, once you've done the tweaks you'll realize that its fairly simple and easy.

I'm willing to bet that a lot of the frequent members here know more about the VE pump and turning it up than most diesel shops. We are more than willing to help, just ask .

If you don't get a better answer, find some close to you in the list of service locations here:

and call them.

Sa...weet!!! What kind of beer, what kind of hot links, and what are you doing Sunday??? No seriously LMK when youve got some free time. I am pretty sure I can do this, I would just like to have someone with some knowledge there when I do. What else should I get. Gauges are going in today, I ordered everything I need to build a 4" exhaust from the turbo back, everything to build a nice intake setup, and some PODs. I was thinking about getting a 16cm exhaust housing, a 3200 spring, a fuel pin, and a Hughes converter. Anything else? Heck if you wanted to drive to Wichita Falls we can do it all on the dyno, you could bring your truck to throw on as well!! I love me some hotlinks too!!!

Dang guys I guess I should have posted that I was going to be in Texas this week. I am in Allen Texas right now for some training for work, but I am leaving in the morning. I could have helped you out. I didnt bring my tools though. I am sure you can find someone to work on it.
