where to buy fuel screw

Hello, I pulled my full fuel screw out the other day to remove the collar. After fighting with it for a couple hours I was able to remove half the collar I noticed the threads were gone where the welds were. I was having a hard time removing the collar around the welds and just decided to put it back together since I didnt feel comfortable twisting those threads or lack of into the injector pump. I dont think a die would of helped much. Someone went nuts with the welds on this one. So my ? is does anyone sell a replacement full fuel screw and if so do they sell one minus the collar?

That would be a Bosch part. If there's a pump shop near you they should be able to get you one. The collar is installed after the pump is set up, so a new one would be unmolested.

Anyone know of a way to make the screw a little longer? I need more threads before the oring. I'm pretty sure my o-ring is bottomed out on the threads in the pump, and so I'm guessing I just have a lazy pump .

IIRC, I think I've had the fuel screw out of a nonIC'd pump and an IC'd pump and they were different lengths before the o-ring. Scheid Diesel would be able to look up the part numbers and tell you if they are different numbers. extremexj, give em a call they'll fix you up.
