Where to buy ECM PCM

Sent my ECM off to cardone but it was returned as unrepairable. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to get a computer?

Someone I believe on this site built a 5 V. regulator for his computer. I can't find the post anymore but the gist of it was that when he checked one of the wires that should have 5 V. On it he found it was low. He built this regulator and hooked it to that wire and everything seemed to work fine after that. I didn't think anything of it at the time but wonder if maybe the 5 V supply built into our computers is a weak link. I know this doesn't help you find a computer but might be worth a try. About the only thing you have to have the computer for his best I can figure out its cruise control. Everything else can be made to work without it one way or another. Just my two cents, Mike.

I could not find one at any of the regular parts places for my 91.5 but I got one from a place on line. I think the name of the place was auto computer exchange. The used to advertize on fleabay. The price was something like 3X that of a 92-93 ecm. Go figure.

I tried rock auto already. they are the middle man between customer and cardone. Cardone sent back my ecm stating it was not rebuildable.

Ok thanks. I called them and they only provide rebuild service as they have no cores in stock. I'm getting help from a dtr member so hopefully I will be all set. Thanks for your recommendations
