Wheels for 2wd
Wheels for 2wd
I want to put some different wheels on my 92 CC it has the 2nd gen chrome wheels on it now and they look to be 7" wide with about 4.5 back spacing. What is the rim and back spacing of the ford Alcoa wheel and from what I have seen I need rims from a 98 and earlier ford but why I see ford rim on C/L are from 99 and up that look the same . Any one know what the rim size and back spacing is on the later chev-gmc Alcoa are I know I would have to open up the center hole to fit our trucks. maybe some pictures of 2wd trucks with different rims would be nice. what would be the best rim size for the 2wd truck Thanks Ken
Ford Alcoas are nice.. As seen here on a 2wd with 265/75 R16 Toyo H/T
these came off a 2007 E350 Van. Super Duty pickup '99 and up won't work because bolt spacing is 170mm x 8 lug . We have 6.5" x 8 lug
They look similar to the older pre '97 ford alcoa but if you saw them both in person youd see obvious differences like how the center is shouldered to the rim etc...

Here are The stock rims with stock 235/85 R16 Same truck:

Here are Ricksons same truck with 245/70R19.5
