Wheel bearing hub torque issue

The factory manual says for the 4 screws that hold the hub to the knuckle should torque to 125' pounds, my question is that it sure seems to be a lot of torque for such small bolts on my 1996 2500.
Thoughts?? Thank You!

I think they're M14 or similar size. 125# doesn't sound unreasonable.

For better answers, maybe post in the 2ndgen section?
