Whats the pattern on a np205 ****?

Whats the pattern on a np205 ? the 93 we got is missing the **** insert and me and my dad don't know anything about 4x4's

im sure we could tell the difference if we just felt like going outside, jumpstarting the truck to drive it and tell the diff.

the stick is all the way back against the seat? is this 2wd

on my 89 all the way against the seat is 4wd. I will go look on my visor. Do yo still have the sticker on the drivers side visor?

when the old lady drives (seat is all they way front) my truck the 4x4 shifter is against the seat. You would have know if you were in 4x4 if everything is working.

Also, there is no pattern to follow, the shifter moves straight forward and backward.

And if it don't light up, the problem is usually dirty contacts at the transfer-case lever switch thingie.

That's too fancy; just pencil it on a strip of masking-tape and stick it on there.

do you still have the factory sticker on the drivers side sun visor? That is where my sticker is

OK, on the donor 91 IC truck I used for my RC, which was auto, the pattern was straight forward or back. On my 93 5speed, there is a gate from 4hi up to 2hi, so you can't hit nuetral, untill you move it to the right then up.
