I'm pretty sure LE means Luxury Edition (power windows, power locks, electric mirrors, sliding rear window, tailgate trim, cruise control, maybe AC, interior trim come standard). I assume SE stands for Standard Edition. I've never head of the other ones....

Limited Edition

Limited to what? They probably made more LE's than SE's. Kind of a marketing gimmick to make you feel that your getting something that they only made a limited amount of.

LE means= Limited Equipment, SE means= Standard Equipment

Our trucks well (92-93's) came in four versions.
Base, work advantage, work special (150 only), and super LE

Basically, a fully loaded truck of the day would have power windows, locks, mirrors (unless 7x10's were purchased extra), cruise control, padded bumpers, cloth seat/seats(cc), sliding rear window, lights under dash/in bed, moldings, 4 speaker radio system, storage tray behind seat(REG CAB), brushed aluminum applique on tailgate, beauty rings and dish rim caps, intermitten wipers, and woodtone dash panel.

Hope that answers your question. RAM

luxury limited, same thing.

anyone got a super LE truck with manual windows/locks ? saw one today.

it was a 91. had power mirrors, tilt, cruise, all normal super LE stuff and it had the fuzzy LE door panels but had crank windows.

Only option the 93 has is A/C and the "courtesy light package" (if thats what dodge called it)

no cargo light.....

My 92 has no options at all except the manual and 4x4. No posi, no nothin. It was a no frills fleet truck for a local oil company.

I'm not always a fan of power windows, but the ones on my truck are insanely fast! they roll up and down faster than anything else I've seen. I had a friend ask if my turbo was hooked up to my windows

^Do you mean vinyl seats or the black molding at the mottom of the truck?

WHOSDUNIT; I meant cargo light, a cargo light was standard equipment on a LE truck, but an option on work advantage model.

SMOKEY,,the power windows on my other brand of trk., would almost stall the alternator , show heavy discharge on amp gauge,. these 1st gen windows may be the one thing chrysler got right (not counting motor).
