Whats the biggest tires you can put on a D250
235/85R16 is the stock tire size. I wouldn't expect them to rub if your springs aren't sagged! The largest tire I was able to use was 245/70R19.5 which is about 33.6" tall. They didn't rub, but I have m00g7226S springs with daystar spacers on top of them. They rubbed the sway bar when I put that on..
I was thinking of putting some nice tall wide tires on back, maybe 315/75's and stay with 235/85's or 265/75's (whatever is cheaper) on the front.
I would like to drop my cruising rpm and figure this is cheaper and should look better than going with the 3.07 rear end. As long a the angle isn't too bad with the rear an extra 1.5" higher and I can get someone to put them on and inspect it with different size tires then I guess thats what I will do. Hopefully it will look alright.
