i found a 76 dodge truck. i can get it super cheap but what parts can i use from it. i know the windshield works and doors and cab but i have a cc. and i was wondering if its possible to just switch hoods also, or would i have to take the 76 grill also? i need to know a list of parts i can take and put to use on my truck

Doors and fenders will bolt on...but the body lines are different. If you try to mix 72-80 doors/fenders with 81-93 doors/fenders, the body lines won't match up. If you're running 81-93 fenders, you need to keep 81-93 doors, and vice-versa for the 72-80 stuff.

As for the hood...it will fit just fine, but the latch may be an issue. The bigger problem is the cowl is different for the pre-81 hood. You would have retro fit the wiper squirters...but you certainly could make it work.

The hood will work... I have the powerwagon style hood on my 81 wheeling truck with all the newer style fenders and doors.. The window Jizzer should be the same I think... They are all in the facia piece between the hood and the glass...
