What turbo replaced the HT3B?

Was it the HX60?

Also, it is easy to replace the HT3B 26 cm turbine housing with a 22 cm housing?

HT60 was the replacement. The HX is normal rotation, the opposite of the HT3B.

It should be a direct swap.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you know what size turbine housing the HT60 came with?

Would it be worth it to upgrade from the HT3B to the HT60?

I believe they came with a 23, 27 and possibly a 32.

As far as being worth the swap. The ht is a newer design but I'm unsure of how much of an upgrade it would be if any at all.

I personally would just stick with the 3b and when you out grow it switch to a normal rotation charger, giving you a ton of options. I know that means you would need to redo your hot side but it's worth it.

its my opinion to just do a s400 based turbo they are the same price and you have options for housings.

i had a ht3b with the huge 36cm turbine housing and had a hard time finding a used housing. so unless you have it already and its a 23 or 26 dont bother.

i just built my hot pipe for my twins yesterday.................i dont want to do that again for a long time

Yeah, I would love an S400 but I dont have the skillz or time to fabricate a different hotpipe, so I have to stick with something that can replace an HT3B. afaik I have the 26 cm turbine housing on mine.
