What size Injectors?

Hi Gang, I have a case tractor with a first gen thats in need of new injectors and was wondering if anyone knew for sure what size they were? I'm looking in my book and all it says is 17mm diameter. The motor designation is 6T-590 non-intorcooled built in 1984, any idea if these will be the same as non- I/C trucks or I/C truck, as i have a 92 and would love to put new injectors in it and swap the old ones to the tractor. Also is there anything that would stop me from putting an I/C head on the tractor as the head needs to be reworked and i'm sure I can find a lower milage I/C head cheaper than reworking my head with 12,000 hrs. on it. Thanks ahead of time, Terry.

The 84 engine most likely has the 9mm tipped injectors/bores. IE same as nonIC'd trucks. You could upgrade your 92's injectors and use your old 92 7mm stock injectors in the 84. You'll need the 7mm-9mm adaptors ~$8 each. I don't see nothing stopping you with the head swap you mention.
