For the last 5 years I've been using Amsoil Synthetic in my NV4500 5 speed, Amsoil's Synthetic Manual Transmission and Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90 API GL-4 MTG

I live in a mountainous area that every ride is continuous gear changing and on a couple of uphill hairpins very fast shifts are required: no problems at all with the carbon fiber synchros when using Amsoil MTG.

Had some problems with shifting after about 4 years and worried the Amsoil had failed me. Nope, my hydraulic clutch was way out of adjustment, fixed that and was right back to lightning quick shifts. Amsoil's 1/2 the price of Mopar Meritor.

The 93 does not have a NV4500 unless someone did a tranny swap. If I where you I would find out what the tranny is before you service it. There are many different fluids for different trannys. I would think the 93 would be a getrag but I might be wrong. If its a getrag they use 5/30 motor oil and I run synthetic in mine.

No Getrags used in gassers, probably an NV4500 gasser version.

Definitely an NV4500 in this rig.
It would use the same lube as the '94-up diesel version, Castrol Syntorque, or the current equivalent.

Just in 1992 and 1993 on the old squarebodies.
Prior to that it was the (believe it or not) A-535 Dakota tranny, if the 5 speed option was chosen.
