What kind of difference have people noticed w/ 366(3K) governor springs?

When I ordered my spring I asked the performance diesel shop for a 366 but they gave me a 386 saying that it was the performance gov spring that was listed in their catalogue for our trucks. So I went with it.

It did give me a noticabe increase in revs over the stock spring but I definetly defuel before 3200RPM.

I agree on sticking with the 366 and will probably change mine out.

It should defuel at 3200rpm. Check my readers gallery for the pic 'IRP 05'. See where it defuels at. Of course there's more to it than just governor spring, but it will give you an idea. Pay no attention to the 'IRP 06' pic.
