well that's no good
Went to put my load-assist shocks on today. Got the old one cut off, slammed the new one in place, uh oh, not long enough. Had to jack up the lower control arm to get the top bolted into place, lost about 2 inches of wheel downtravel. Does ride a lot better though. well, at least when the front suspension is being loaded. When it unloads on a hump in the road, it snaps back down real fast. Have to see if maybe there was a mix-up somewhere and the wrong shocks got put in the right box or something.
The old ones were shot though. Noticed there was a blue area on the piston, so I collapsed the shock and it won't grow again.
At least I got my new brakes in. Going to have to have someone help me bleed them I think. And get new lines. The pedal is just as spongy as it was with 1/3 of the pad thickness left.
