Well, its offical!!!

I have become a man! I just purchased a 91 W250 with a 3 speed. Has plenty of miles but thats ok 336000. The guy I bought it off of said he turned the fuel screw in one and a half turns. I need some lessons on these pumps, what to turn, where and how much. It has a boost and oil pressure gauge. I need to get a tack and pryp. Oh and what about that KDP? Any help well be put to good use. Thanks
Heath

Welcome ARAcummins to the mans world "DTR" & Diesels.
Check out the 1st gens How to & FAQ posted by Monty(moderator). Most of your questions will be answered I'd highly recomend the Pyro gauge before any further adj. are made.
Enjoy!

Heath,

Congrats on your new to you truck...awesome machines...

Spend some time to get used to the site, there is so much info you could spend a couple three days just reading and learning...

Let us know how you make out with the adjustments, and as Ramguy said, get a pyro gauge at the minimum...boost would be nice too.

You are certainly right about the 336K mileage being OK...as you know if they are well maintained, will go at least that again.

Tech Facts doesn't seam to be a thumbnailed thread anymore -- go to the "tech facts" link in the header bar, and then the 1st generation section . . . or just click HERE
