Weighed my truck today

Hauled some junk to the recycling center today. I was curious what my truck would weigh. 4922 unloaded with approx 1/4 tank of fuel. 5097 with me in it. My spare was in the bed also. Best part was cleaning up around the place and scoring $99.60 for my efforts

Its amazing how much weight 4 wheel drive adds. My 93 W250 club cab weighs 6800 with me in it empty.

Wow! I keep getting 6060#, give or take a little for fuel, on my 92 D250. I'll grant you that my fifth-wheel hitch is in the bed & the spare under the bed, but half a ton is quite a bit. Wait (pun) a minute..... mine's a long-bed extended-cab LE as well.

Well, maybe it comes together.

Regards, DBF

I should have stated that mine is a regular cab. Still lighter than I thought it would be.

Yeah, that's almost incredibly light. I bet that's the lightest dodge truck configuration that came with a diesel. Sounds like a good drag project-a later engine, a rollcage to stiffen it up...

Peyton, does it have a/c?
probably not an LE?
89-91 had a 6" frame vs 8" frame for intercooled trucks.
My 92 ext. cab W-250 LE weighs 6150 as it rolled off the assembly line.
First gens are light.
