Water Fuel Seperator

Hey guys changed my fuel filter yesterday and found A LOT of RUST sitting on the top. I noticed the lack of power and decided it was time for a change. Where could this rust have come from? Where is the fuel directed to in these filters(comes out the small holes and to the IP or the big hole in the center and to the IP.) Also I don't have the water fuel seperator and would like to know if anyone knows where to get them or an extra they could sell me. Thanks

place to get your truck stuff

Have you looked at Geno's? Maybe I'm not sure what you're looking for.

Check this page and get your proper filter and then the sensor.

That's where I got mine, and $18 for the sensor seems pretty good to me.

You must have got some watery fuel. Not uncommon, and the separator probably caught it. Even if you got the filter without the WIF sensor port, it's still a filter/separator. The fuel goes in the little holes and comes out the big hole.

If you have a Cummins dealer nearby they can beat Geno's by a little bit, but if you have to call and have it shipped it'll work out about the same.
