I have a Warn 12k industrial on mine, it's the minimum I'd put on one of these trucks. Newer trucks tend to be heavier so if you're winching them out keep that in mind. Don't be afraid to use a ****** block either, just make sure it's rated to handle the load.

 

I second the milemarker hydraulic, went with the 12k version. I used a powersteering pump from a newer truck when I converted to hydroboost. But now I have a ZF pump from a medium duty ford, which will totally replace the vac and ps pumps. Going to run a powerstroke electric vac pump for my ac vents.
