? for 91.5-93 Banks intercooler owners

Got a question for guys with a 91.5-93 truck that replaced their stock intercooler with a Banks technicooler. Was the intercooler the same dimensions as stock and a bolt up job? No cutting of the core support required? I'm looking to replace my leaky 93 intercooler in my 89 truck. I'd prefer an intercooler the same dimensions are the 91.5-93 trucks. The 89-90 Banks intercooler is different than the stock intercooler. You have to cut the core support below the battery, instead of right next to the radiator. My core support is already CUT up from my hack job install. I'd prefer not to cut it up more as the integrity of it is already not the best. Also would like to use the Banks grill afterwords. Oh and I already have silicone IC boots, HD spring clamps with custom made IC pipes, so I don't need the entire Banks kit.
So basically the question is, any difference between Banks 89-90 IC vs. 91.5-93 Banks IC, and 93 Banks IC vs. stock 91.5-93 IC. Scheid wasn't sure, tried calling their distributor but it was too late in the day. Will know more Tuesday.. hopefully. Any help appreciated, thanks, Bill.

Well he obviously didn't have a clue, since your truck didn't come with an intercooler it doesn't have holes in the core support for an intercooler . I've seen a few 89-90's with the Banks setup so I know how it is routed. I've got my truck setup for a 91.5-93 intercooler so I'd like to get one for those years.
