It's either cast into the differential housing (60) or look for the BOM #'s stamped in the axle tube, (Bill of Material). Then go to the Dana/Spicer website and you'll find everything there is to know about the axle. The ring and pinion info may be on a steel tab with one of the diff cover bolts thru it.
The best way to ID a Dana axle is the BOM... Make and model is useless if the axle was swapped out at some point. BOM is absolute.
