From what I have read, the 14mm head can be a reliable daily driver (Bill's is), but it requires more fuel volume and pressure than the stock or even piston style pump can provide, esp on a full throttle dyno run. I dont have that itch yet- I just want to top 20mpg.

CowboyCustoms- it's gonna be way more than my exhaust housing was

I, too know the website of which Bill wrote, but since Bill has been given permission I dont want to step on any toes.

Daniel

Extrude honing stockers?

A friend of mine is a machinist and has an extrude hone machine at his work. Is it possible to extrude hone the stock injectors to the point of flowing serious fuel? Or would you have to start with something bigger like a 190 or a custom EDM? What does DDP use as a core for their stage 4's?

You can only typically go so much bigger with EDMing an injector before it starts to slobber to much fuel .I am not an expert, however I believe there is a point when the tip or injector itself need to be redisigned to some degree.

Still no links for me guys. Some good discusion here but I really am going to need to purchase some injectors. Contact info yet anyone?

DDP uses your core, or new bosch units.

Fergaves, mine were bought through scheid. I recentally had a set of injectors EDM'ed out by a fellow TDR member who did an excellent job. 6x18's are very large injectors. Im planning on the nitrous also. With what ive got in my sig and acouple other things I can peg my 60psi boost guage and peg the pyro, while still managing 18-19mpg.

Yep, new site, www.1stgen.org. Link to KTA's post on new 14mm heads: http://www.1stgen.org/viewtopic.php?t=623. $500. I'd like to have another 14mm pump, but now it's getting pricey. Guess I should've bought one of his last heads when they were $100 cheaper.
