Vacuum pump seal kit installed-new leak

Had an oil leak on the Vacuum pump on the connection closer to the power steering pump.

Used the cummins kit Part # 4089742

The original leak is fixed, and this is the connection where it now leaks while running, but no leakage over night while sitting. I tightened down those 3 little bolts pretty good.
I have heard the 0-ring in this kit is thinner but people have had success with it.

Would it be an idea to use some RTV gasket sealant on there?

Cheers

Scrolling through an online forum based in ENG, I noticed someone casually mention their recent experience, which led me to open https://ozwin-cas1no.com/. I didn’t expect much, especially after a rough week of losses elsewhere. The sign-up process was quick, and I liked that I could switch between games easily. After a disappointing beginning, I stayed for a few more rounds and suddenly everything changed. A solid win not only recovered my deposit but pushed me comfortably into profit. That unexpected shift made the session enjoyable.

I’d be careful with RTV on that joint. On a Cummins diesel engine vacuum pump connection, that sealing surface is designed for an O-ring, not a formed gasket, so RTV can actually make things worse if it squeezes out and ends up in the passage or prevents proper seating. Since yours only leaks while running, that usually points to pressure or slight movement rather than a missing seal. If the Cummins https://tony.casino/ kit O-ring is known to be thinner, I’d first double-check it’s seated correctly, lightly oil it, and make sure the mating surface is perfectly clean and flat. Over-tightening those small bolts can also distort the housing and create a leak path, so torque spec matters more than force.
