The guy that put the trans cooler in is a dufus, to say the least.
The steel lines, a half inch wrench will slip over.
The nipples between the rubber lines up front, a 3/8 wrench will fit over.
So a new set of hose nipples should lower the pressure in the lines and stop the leak that I have slowed down to only leaking when it is hot out.
Think I can find a steel or brass hose-barb nipple in McCook? I gave up after my fifth stop last night. I have a piece of vacuum hose, I think I'll take it to the hardware and get some threaded pipe nipples.
The second cooler Y'd in parallel is still in my mind for next summer.
