underhood light bulb for '93?

it should be a standard single filament 1156 bulb which only has one contact point on the base. they can be found at any auto parts stores. typically, you may have to buy them in pairs for about $4 or $5 but nothing wrong with having an extra one lying around.

duhh! of course! I had taken apart the quick-connect and bulb mount and found what looks like a smaller bulb base in a spring loaded chamber--so stupid I wonder how I get by sometimes! don't loose that little piece if you mess with this unit.
