I have been fighting the same thing for quite some time and finally just gave in to the fact that it would not work. I have restricted the flow through the vacum line to almost nothing. I can agree that it is very annoying. I may try the can thing though along with the needle valve. I sure wish it would work 70+ miles a day sure would be better with cruise.

I have tried everything except the can. I think I will use a large old fuel filter with the insides gutted. The fittings will be the right size and the volume of the can should smooth it out....

Kinda reviving an old thread here, but I have the same problem with the standard trans and the cruise surging. Just curious if anyone has successfully figured out how to fix it and if so if you would mind sharing that knowledge with the rest of us. thanks for the help.
