>>> turn signal ??? <<<

On the son's 90-model, the LEFT signals, front and rear, plus the indicator in the dash, all work as they should.

The RIGHT rear flashes; but, there is no activity at either the front, corner, or dash indicator.

The 1157 bulb in front is new; I even tried two separate ones.

The 194 in the corner lights up when the markers are ON, but does not flash with the signal.

Can the indicator bulb be bad and kill the front ones ??

Thanks.

usually when the load is reduced, minus one bulb, the flasher will speed up flashes, use a test light to see if the socket is powered up, then chec the ground wire on the core support, if power is dead, look for a worn switch in the column, that will require a steering wheel puller, has it been doing anything weird before it failed? on the right circuit.

The LEFT side sometimes requires the lever to be wiggled a bit to get the dash indicator to flash.

The RIGHT REAR does flash, just nothing else on the RIGHT side.

If it is indeed a switch problem, then that will get fixed with a Signal Stat.

Can the indicator bulb be shot and cause this situation ??

Thanks.

bulb can be out, the switch has separate circuits for front rt/rear rt, you can match it at autozone/napa/anyparts house, probably 35.00 or so, if you have a problem finding the part, ill check my supplier for a number

A lot of the past turn signal problems have been linked with the brake light switch. The turn signal wiring goes through the brake light switch.
