Turd polishing 101

Well after buying new rocker panels new fenders and a brand new 15 year old take off bed I went after the cab with a body mans pick hammer ...... the roof has a hole 4 by3 inches it like all other older Dodges. Then after power washing 15 years of quarry dust off the frame the cab mounts are totally rotted out!! The engine and drive train are excellent so now I am in search of a good cab . But where does it all end . Ill tell ya with a nicely restored 1990 Dodge . Frigg all thoes restored 70s 80s ford and chevys I LOVE MY DODGE !!

If your really interested in his cab check out the cost of shipping it. Might be cheaper that the round trip to go after it.

Now everybody wants an old Dodge truck ...... figures.

I scraped a 90 D350 about 3 months ago, I bought it for the parts.
Fenders, perfect, doors, perfect, cab, very good ..... DA*N

All I wanted was the enging, trans, rear suspension and the 150 gallon
aluminum fuel tank.

I drove it around for a couple days then RIPPED IT'S GUTS OUT!

I stopped at salvage yard AND LO AND BEHOLD a MINT and I mean Mint 93 D250 cab allready off the frame. $ 350.00 AMERICAN DOLLARS complete with all A/C parts. And its even white. This cab is so friggin clean all I have to do is bolt it on and change the wiring from gas to diesel. I pulled the money out of my pocket so fast I got rope burn ha ha. At least you have Junk Yards to be walking around checking for things. In Vermont, very few and very far in between finding them. I think anything beyond 5 years old and they ditch. Probably down south to other Bone Yards.
