Turbos
Turbos
Whats the difference between a first gen turbo and a second gen turbo. Meaning the VE pumped engine and the P-pumped engine turbos. I ask because I installed a P-Pump on my first gen and was wondering if it was worth installing the turbo also.

If you run mostly empty the wastegated 12 cm2 housing from the 2nd gen turbo would probably be best, especially with your NV4500. I always thought that the 12cm2 housing would be a little restrictive for towing, but I know there are some guys here that run them with no EGT problems at all. It would probably be worth it to try it on your truck and see how it behaves. Cost would be cheap and you could always go back to your 16 cm2 housing.
I think you'll be fine with your 16 until you start upping your fuel, if you're going to do that. A 12cm is going to get overwhelmed quick unless you stay at stock fuel levels. But it's a P-pump, there'd be no point in putting it on if you were going to stay stock.
Personally, I'd go with an S300, Phat Shaft, HTT or HE351for a single, or some kind of twins. Of course, if you're going all out I wouldn't mess around with a single.
