Picked up a rebuild kit and putting turbo back together. The locking plates that come with the kit are .035 and old ones are .110 and reason not to use the old ones ?

 

which turbo? i rebuilt my hx35. it was easy, just a bunch of snap rings. got any pics of what your talking about

 

sorry but did not take any pics...used the old locking plates they are where you bolt the center housing to the turbine housing..it was a hc1 on compressor side with waste gated 14...now has a H1 Upgrade Compressor Housing & Wheel (60mm) from gillet diesel....tested it out and ran okay and lots of whistle.
