turbo prices

Im just trying to get a feel for prices for parts Im going to need for upgrade, figured I should start with the expensive one. I found a couple of HE351CW turbos on ebay. A reman one for $765 and new for $1200, is that low, high, normal? Any problems with reman turbos?

Greed they are talking about Frame size.

I picked up my 351 for 125$ and my vgt 351 for 100$ I'd say that the ebay prices are way high. But it's about supply and demand. But for those prices you could get a better turbo.

S258, found on cat c7's, 3116's and 3126's. Some are the S300g with the 11 blade 65mm turbine, I'm refering more to the 60mm 10 blade turbine models. I have one with a 60mm non ett compressor with the 60mm turbine and a 14cm housing that I'm going to be using, also have the 12cm housing it came with.

You can get them new, but from CAT they are WAY too expensive, used models from cat go in the 500-700 range. The same model from Borg will run around 650ish new, with a t4 turbine thats too large for most. With an appropriately sized housing they get a bit more pricey. Himni racing has an s256 in the 700 range, and with the 58mm ett wheel would be an awesome little turbo. After I get the new injectors and my s200 on I will let everyone know how it works. I'll be running a cat 14cm turbine housing with a ported gate, modified for more travel. Pics:

This particular charger is an s2bg, which shares the same/very similar turbine with the 70mm/60mm turbine of the s200. The actual profile and radius of the wheel may be SLIGHTLY different, but I doubt anyone would be able to notice a difference. The turbine I have from an s200 from a cat motor is identical to the one in my charger, although the compressors are of different dimensions.
