Pwrtripls1, thanks thats good to hear about my truck, I've got about 4k in it so far, I just bought it last week with 150k on it. Just finished putting new drums and shoes on it, Me and a friend, kinda sucks because I just read about the disk brake conversion that I could have installed on it instead, $500 dollars later, sucks, but I guess the drums will work for a while.

I wish vendors would show some support , but it feels like to them Im just another number. I know how you feel...

get them adjusted correctly and they will stop just as good, if not better with a lot of load. The problem is, not too many people(including my self) take the time to adjust their drums correctly. Hope everything works out, i just got finished with a f...up part/exploder, its kinda frustrating.

I don't get why you'd be upset with the vendor? If the part hasn't been modified by him, what has he done wrong?

Well it's just that he told me Im stuck with a product that I just recieved and its not a direct fit for my Exhaust Manifold on my engine like His company advertised , If the ports don't match up I have a real big problem with that.

Its still new in the box basically. And it says right there on their website that they do infact take Returns, Im not even wanting a refund, I just want to swap it out for a product that lines up the way its supposed to.

There are times when certain **** can fly, but when it comes down to anything inside or around my Diesel Engine I want the **** to look/Feel/Work Extactly the way it is supposed To.

And as you can see there are many others who stated there opinion about this situation that said that they would feel the same way.

I feel like they are bargaining off an inferior product on me so that they don't have deal with the loss, either that or they are making extra money by buying up Crappy products for cheap and selling them to their customers at lower prices without advertising exactly what they are selling.

i can thoroughly understand your anger at this point. if i were in this exact situation you are in right this moment, i'd much rather just forget attempting to deal with them again and go straight to a higher authority. that being the BBB as justramit said!

i strongly agree too. much like i already said in previous posts, you should get a part in the same condition as advertised. regardless of who made the mistake, that person/company should take responsibility for what was done and replace it. not very many people consider how important customer service/satisfaction is to keep a company afloat!

Thanks Jimbo, Im actually starting to calm down some, im not as angry as I am Disappointed, Im not one to point fingers, but the company Im speaking of is a very popular company, so Im hoping I wont have to go there and they will make things right for me, Ill let you know tomarrow I guess. It was a sales tech that I talked to, so hopefully i will be able to reach someone with higher authority that will be more leanient with me.

I emailed several folks on their website so surely someone there has a second opinion about this issue, all I did was hear good reviews about them and decided to place an order, then when i recieved my order I didn't like what I saw, I don't know why they wouldn't work something out with me, Hell I'll pay the shipping and everything Im a good customer that did nothing wrong, why doesn't their return policy apply to me, wish they wouldn't have left me hanging like this is all.

Shoot, I should shut up for now though before I say to much, because things may turn out for the better for me when I hear back from them in the morning.

Ok I finally got in touch with them and am awaiting an email with instructions on how to go about on making this return. Jeez I emailed them 10 times and finally I decided to call them and they gave me an answer and hung up on me.

Yeah, jeez. When I worked in customer service, I was always mindful of the fact that a return customer is your best customer. Sure, a once off is great, and you treat them with respect and give them what they want and do it right and hope they come to you again. But these guys don't seem to get that concept. Too bad.
Makes me think they won't be in business very long, or they're used to dealing with folks who buy thousands of dollars worth of stuff, and up-selling while they're at it, not a couple of hundred. Shouldn't make any difference though, should it? Money is money and that's what business is supposed to be all about, making money. Treating folks like second class is not going to make you money! I sure hope they do right by you EMP!

Ha Ha Ha I was trying to figure out what you meant earlier when you said EMP, that's funny I thought it was like OMG or LMAO or ECT, Duh EatMorePossum

Another thing I forgot to mention is that they told me my turbo housing would come with all the gaskets needed for the install, and somehow they forgot to ship it to me in my original package, now I have to wait until the gaskets come in so I can return them both together in the box that they should have been in the first place. Not a big deal, but after what I went through with them I figured they would have just thrown them in for my troubles, I am paying shipping both ways here.

Yeah if yall really want to know who it was that treated me like this I'll tell you, although Id rather not now that they are atleast allowing me the return.

I found a good shop, I typed in Borg Warner turbochargers on google and found a place called J&H Diesel, so I called them and they quoted me $164 on the 16cm2 housing and said that they only use genuine Holset turbos for the Cummins motors, and said that oem would be best for what Im wanting to do with my Diesel.

So I went ahead and placed my order with them and they told me that they didn't have the housing in stock but that it would ship directly from Holset to my house, which makes me feel pretty good.

Thanks for your support Everyone!!!

humm... would that be j&H that gave u the run-around?
Glad Whoever they are, at least started doing something, not so much making the effort to make you happy, but keep your fingers tied from suing or making a fuss with the BBB.

Goodluck!

Im waiting until I get the charge back on my CC before I mention the name of the company, they might get upset and deny the return...

No it wasn't J&H. J&H is the company that I called and they said they could get me a genuine holset housing, and for a decent price too, they told me it would probably ship tomarrow from the holset warehouse, but that they would keep me updated and call me when they receive my tracking numbers.

They do a lot of turbo work in the Heavy duty trucks and industrial engines line of business, but were still able to help me out on my 5.9L .
