Turbo-to-manifold Gasket

Is this the correct part number for the gasket that sandwiches between the exhaust manifold and turbo:

FELPRO # 60928

Also, is this gasket the same in both 1st and 2nd Gen.??

Thanks.

2nd Gen should use the same gasket. I believe the ISC and ISL engines also use the same gasket. Even non Cummins engines that use the same size flange (most of the turbo's have a standard flange of several different sizes) will have a gasket that works. 3901356 is the Cummins number for that gasket and 3709861 is the Holset number. If you have a cross reference list for felpro you can check your number against these Cummins numbers. Hope that helps.

I found a gasket.

A little different in that it has one large opening, instead of two small openings; other than that, it is the same.

It is in a bag that has Chrysler part# 05018525.

The gasket, itself, has stamped # 3919369 WEK USA.

One more question:

This gasket has a formed ridge, around the perimeter of the hole; does this ridge go next to turbo, or next to manifold, or does it matter??

Thanks.

That will work OK, a little leak between the two sides of the manifold will not hurt spoolup much.

Doesn't matter where the ridge faces.

Thanks for the info.

Stuff like this can be a small hassle, or a long wait, or drive, when living in these little Hooterville towns.

Copper RTV works fine. I use it on the turbo and the manifold with no leaks.

I didn't know such a product existed.

I will have to get some to have for emergencies.

Thanks.
