Turbo Identification Help

Need help identifying this turbo that I have on my truck. It’s a Borg Warner and I was told it was a 360 series but I don’t know how to tell. I’m wanting to put an efficient fuel pin in but need to know what turbo I have. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Truck is a 92 D250.

I can't say about your turbo but you'd be well advised to place that air intake somewhere it can get cold air. Where it's at will pull air from the radiator. Hot air is less dense.

Sorry, can't help with the turbo ID - I only have Holsets.

Don't get too hung up on the fuel pin. Its not doing anything when you're cruising. The stock one is efficient, and can be turned about 90 degrees for a little more oomph when you stab the pedal.

When you make adjustments to the power screw, or add any of: governor spring, bigger injectors, quick-spooling turbo,.. you rely on the fuel pin's contribution less.

I believe its a 369sxe. Reason i was wondering about the fuel pin, is I would like to get one that is more efficient. Seems like the setup I have now, rolls a lot of coal during early acceleration while the turbo is spooling up. Im not a big fan of the smoke show, just want the power! Im fairly new to this generation of cummins so any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

The

Adjust the fuel pin back out some to reduce smoke.

Aftermarket pins fuel more than stock.

I suspect your turbo doesn't spool quickly. Try to find out the exhaust housing size or the AR spec.
