Which Turbo

I have been doing alot of research and i want to know of a good turbo to run on my truck im going to be upgrading to pods or maybe custom edm's i have the stage 4 now but with that much fuel i want to be able to burn it all and not have to be constantly watching my pyro. So wat would be a good turbo to get without breaking the bank???

Keep the stage 4 and get a larger exhaust housing I like the 14cm w/g but a16 is cheeper but slower. Also get a 4" or 5" exhaust and it will help. I have a 5", HX35-14cm w/g POD's lots of pump work and it works just fine even when I tow. BTW I love your truck, good to see you kept it.

I know. I got my setup for free on a FL70 with a 5.9, at a semi junkyard I work at some times.

sounds good. I have a friend in the USAF in Phenix with a truck like yours just not quite as tall but has 5" turn outs. Belive it or not I think 4" looks a little small on a truck as big as yours.

Gray and silver with ablack hedake rack andwend gate with Micky Tompson Classic II's. Still has stock down pipe but we will fit that soon. He is in Texas now with his 85 swb stepside Chevy with very turned up 4BT, G-rag, Dana 300, 60&70 with 4.56 and lockers, stack with lots of lift and 38's used for rock crawling and trails out were yall are. Look for post by DennyT on 4bt or beedlocks for picks. I will have his 38's on my 92 in a few days, he is gitting 37" wrangler MT's on the HUMMER beed locks I have now.

Have to agree, don't go under 5" on stacks on a big truck. Look kinda wimpy. 6" look tough.

I cant find the pic's. I thought he had them on hear. I don't drive the truck on the road much any more with the Allison, havent got everythin just right yet. but with no over drive I need the taller tires and the Allison has a 4.6:1 first gear plus converter slip A 727 has a 2.3:1 first. Not my DD any more so now its just for fun 33's for sled pulling. Plus the 38's are free on the M/T Classic II's

Alcoholics go to meetings. Drunks stay up late playing on forums (speaking strictly for myself, of course). That ain't coffee in my cup!
