I'd love to get my hands on a w250 with ve 4bt and a g56 trans... Since we're all talking about what we want

It'd make a great work truck/dd. Grind myself a fuel pin. Throw some 5x14 or 5x12s on there with an he341.

And yeah njt, that's a nice clean truck. far outside my price range. I'd literally have to trade what I own (my 03 fummins) to have that. Doesn't make sense to me to do something like that.

Interesting. You want a four and the majority with a 6 have added mods for more power.

Do you have experience with a 4BT in a full size truck? Not trying to be condesending, just curious since I do not and would like to learn. But also don't want to hijack his thread so maybe another time and another thread will suffice.

Cheers,

It is my thread. I don't care haha

And no direct personal experience no. They aren't hard to get 200rwhp and 400ft/lbs out of though. As a general rule that's all a person really needs if you're honest about your needs.

A few years ago there was a member over on cf who had a 4bt in a dakota. It was a ve pumped one and he didn't work too hard and got good power out of it.
