Trying to help a friend...'93 Get-Rag shifter

W350 with a Getrag. It has the bolt through shifter. Apparently the holes on the tower are all wallowed out and the bolts are gone allowing the shifter to spin in the tranny.

My friend lives three hours away so I haven't been able to look at it myself but I thought you guys might have had some expierience. Any tips???? Anyone know where to get a good tower?? Thanks, Phillip

Three hours away in which direction??; he may be close to me.

I would attempt to re-thread the holes, possibly to a larger size, and make some replacement bolts from standard bolts with some creative filing.

It would help to have a Getrag in good condition to refer to.
